1The price you pay for the book.
2The amount I have to discount the retail price for retailers who sell the book. 55% is standard, 47% is considered a short discount.

8The costs to publish the book, which include file upload and revision costs paid to the printer, as well as the cost of the ISBN. This does not include the time for design, layout and editing.
