Ballroom Dancing!

Since May 2001, one of my passions has been ballroom dancing. I also happen to enjoy a lot of the popular music of the 70's and 80's. So, I've been trying to classify the music I own according to the various types of ballroom dancing. Not easy, since I am still new to the scene.

Thus the reason for this site. I'm hoping that other ballroom dancers out there would like to see a resource for song lists of their favorite tunes. I've started with a list of the music I have, classified as best I can. Visitors to the site can provide a variety of feedback using these pages. In return, I provide the information I have free of charge.

At this site, you can see a list of songs by:

• dance type or genre. Submit your own if you don't see it on the list!
• album or artist. Tell me what the dance type or genre is for the song!

If you choose to download any list, you can get it as a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file. This file can be opened directly by Microsoft Excel, or easily imported into a database. Of course, you can also Copy and Paste from your browser window.
