After installation, I make the following adjustments:

1. Start Spybot.
2. Click on the "Immunize" icon in the upper left corner.
3. If you are prompted to immunize, do it.
4. In the section marked "Permanently running bad download blocker for Internet Explorer", checkmark the "Enable permanent blocking of bad addresses in Internet Exploror" and then select "Block all bad pages silently".

At least once a month:

Search For Updates

1. Click on the "Update" icon.
2. Click on "Search for updates" on the upper left of the screen.
3. Install all updates.

Immunize

1. Click on the "Immunize" icon in the upper left corner.
2. If you are prompted to immunize, do it.

Search & Destroy

1. Click on the Spybot-S&D icon.
2. Click on "Check for problems" in the upper left corner.
3. After it is finished running, you will need to manually uncheck any item you want to keep.
4. Click on "Fix selected problems" at the top center of the screen.
