Study Guide for Exam 3

Computer use WILL NOT be permitted.

Since the test will require hand-written answers, it is expected you will PRINT NEATLY. Sloppy hand-writing may result in a loss in points if I can't read it.

In addition to a "FullOfErrors" program, test will also include short answer questions and you will need to write snippets of code. You will be expected to understand:

• Threads
• Sockets
• Event Handling
• The various visual components in AWT and Swing
• How to use the Graphics class
• The differences between an application, an applet, and a component
